Humber Armoured Cars (HACs). Fitted with 37mm American anti-tank main gun, and a BESA (7.92mm) machine gun.
– Frontal armour is 40mm, with 10mm side armour.
– Top speed is around 50mph, normally operating in 2 wheel drive and selectable for four wheel drive.
– For 43 Recce, HACs were replaced with Daimler Armoured Cars (DACs) from March 1945.
– As far we are aware, there are only 3 HACs remaining in the UK. One being in a private collection that is never displayed publically, plus two more in private ownership.
